Cystoscopy #1 and the bad news

In early September I had my first Rigid Cystoscopy which was performed under anaesthetic, so I had no knowledge of the procedure itself, thank goodness.
While in there, they biopsied some suspicious polyps and sent them off to the lab for testing.
I then had an agonising 2-week wait for the results to come back.
At my next Urology clinic appointment, the urology surgeon delivered the bad news; my results had come back positive and I had high-grade non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer!
